Rack Flex is a deceptive adware program and browser addon that causes numerous problems and is known to get onto your computer without permission. Once installed this adware observes browsing data and generate pop-up ads within Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Internet Explorer. Furthermore, the Rack Flex adware never downloads by itself. It is usually alongside third-party programs, unwanted programs, malware, and other possible malicious software. While it is commonly referred to as the Rack Flex virus, this program is not technically a computer virus although it shares many of the same characteristics.

Remove Ads by Rack Flex malware

This adware generates targeted advertisements as banners, text-links and coupons offers. This is a concern because it means that the adware needs to observe your browsing data, such as all activities, bookmarks, and history to gather enough information to specifically target ads based off your surfing habits. Even though Rack Flex is not technically defined as a computer virus the unwanted program is still a threat or the sign of a serious computer infection. Since Rack Flex is known to download and install alongside third-party malware, malicious files, and additional potentially unwanted programs (PUPs), including other adware it will be necessary to uninstall multiple programs and remove multiple browser add-ons and extensions in order to stop all unwanted activities. Apart from manually removing the program and others that it is bundled with, malware files may remain undetected. That is why experts recommend to use a reputable anti-malware product to remove Rack Flex and malicious files that it may bundle with.

Rack Flex is commonly installed without adequate user consent or knowledge. It is used to promote free downloadable software from a variety of download portals on the web and bundles with multiple adware/PUPs. Free downloadable software includes freeware, shareware, torrents, and more. If you do not wish to consciously install freeware may be given the opportunity to accept or decline an offer to install Rack Flex adware and other programs during the installation process; However, the request to decline the adware from installing is often ignored by the installer or presented in a confusing manner and the adware will install anyway.
